As an organization grows, leadership is spread thin. If the organization continues to grow without an increase in leadership (whether it is adding additional leaders to the team, or restructuring so the current leaders have more time to lead), something will break. Every organization reaches a point where either Leadership has to evolve, or there is acceptance that the organization will no longer continue to grow. Either way is fine as long as it is a conscious decision. If the desire is to grow at a high and sustainable level, the secret sauce is Leadership……and more of it!
